Downstairs at Blue Nile you’ll find our full service bar and music venue. With one of the best-priced drink menus in town for any budget, from TallBoys to Top Shelf, we’ve got everything you need for a great night out. Our bar food menu is unparalleled AND we’ve got a classic arcade game with over 80 oldschool games. Check out our schedule/calender for listings of bands and DJs performing throughout the week.
Downstairs is open EVERY day from 7pm-2am. Entrance in rear of building. Usually 21+ (with 2 IDs required) except for select 18+ shows.
Booking:
If you are interested in booking a show here please contact us through email only bluenilebooking@gmail.com. Please do not call the restaurant or stop by to try and schedule a show. We do all of our booking through email, if you do not get a response from an email inquiry please be patient. We get many requests to play our venue, and we can not accommodate every show. If you do not get a response within two weeks of sending your email, we are probably not interested in hosting your event. We wish we could respond to every email, but the sheer number (and the fact that only one guy does the booking) does not allow enough time.
A couple points to help you out before you contact us. We do not book cover bands or tribute bands. We mainly book Rock, Folk, Punk, Psychedelic, Metal, and Alt Country acts, though we will stray outside of that if we really like your band/act. We also occasionally host EDM bands/DJ’s. We do not book bands on Fridays or Saturdays, except for a short show with a regionally known touring band once a month. We give 100% of the door to the bands, because we love music and want to make the Harrisonburg music scene awesome.
